According to the latest news from the Public Construction Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region of China, the main structure of the Macau Islands Hospital will be flattened on December 30, 2022, one month earlier than the planned construction period. The interior decoration part of the work has begun to advance in an orderly manner.
Macau Islands Hospital Complex covers an area of 75,800 square meters (815,883 ft²), with 7 main buildings and surrounding supporting facilities, with a total construction area of 420,000 square meters (4,520,842 ft²). The follow-up phase II rehabilitation hospital project will start next year.
